As a growing company, we are looking for someone who can develop, structure, and support our network, primarily in the United States.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the growth of our dealer network.
This is a key, field-driven role requiring a mobile, versatile individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment.
The position is based out of Quebec, Canada but the location remains flexible depending on the candidate, as frequent travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Network Development & Field Presence
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and train new dealers, primarily in the United States
- Strengthen the existing network and elevate its performance
- Understand and address the commercial, technical, and organizational needs of dealers and their customers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business practices
- Gather market feedback and share insights internally to improve products and services
- Represent the company professionally across U.S. and Canadian markets
Field Presence & Travel
- Travel regularly (approximately 25 trips per year) to visit dealers and customers
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions
- Demonstrate flexibility and availability to travel on short notice when required
General Contribution to the SME
- Participate in various projects and tasks typical of a growing SME environment
- Demonstrate versatility, resourcefulness, and a collaborative mindset
Candidate Profile
Skills & Experience
- Relevant experience in business development, territory management, or a similar commercial role
- Experience in industries such as towing, trucking, heavy equipment, or vocational equipment
- Strong technical knowledge or understanding (essential)
- Experience working with a dealer network (strong asset)
- Ability to thrive in a growing SME environment
Languages
English required; ability to communicate in French is a plus.
